Recall 25V240000

Electrical System › Wiring — Mercedes-benz · reported 11 Apr 2025 · 14 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2024 E 350 4MATIC, E 450 4MATIC All-Terrain, and E 450 4MATIC vehicles. The 12-Volt and 48-Volt ground connections for the electrical wiring harness may not be secured properly, resulting in the ground connections overheating.

The risk

Overheated ground connections can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and repair the 12-Volt and 48-Volt ground connections as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
