Recall 25V283000 · manufacturer campaign 25-465

Structure › Frame And Members — Keystone · reported 1 May 2025 · 70 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2025 Kodiak 2900FKSP and 308BHSL travel trailers. The struts may not support enough of the fold-down patio's weight while being raised or lowered.

The risk

The operator may be unable to handle the patio's weight, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will affix a warning label, install bolts, and replace the struts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 16, 2025. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 25-465.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
