⚠️ Do Not Drive advisory. NHTSA and the manufacturer advise owners of affected vehicles not to drive them until this recall is repaired.

What's wrong

Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling one 2025 X3-45 VIP Entertainer vehicle. The front lower control arm fasteners may have been improperly tightened, which can result in control arm separation.

The risk

A detached control arm can cause a loss of vehicle steering and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

The owner is advised not to drive their vehicle until it has been repaired. Prevost will inspect and tighten the fasteners as necessary, free of charge. An owner notification letter was mailed June 12, 2025. Owner may contact Prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046. Prevost's number for this recall is SR25-13.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
