Recall 25V449000 · manufacturer campaign ACX-2503 ACTT-2503

Service Brakes, Air › Supply › Reservoir/tank — Autocar · reported 3 Jul 2025 · 49 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2015-2022 ACTT (Xspotter) and ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

The risk

Insufficient air volume can reduce brake function, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace or add additional air tanks as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed August 29, 2025. Owners will receive a second notice once remedy parts become available, anticipated September 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's numbers for this recall are ACTT-2503 and ACX-2503.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
