Recall 25V468000

Suspension › Critical Fasteners — Amo · reported 14 Jul 2025 · 2,294 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

American Manufacturing Operations, Inc. (AMO) 2025 AMO Utility trailers. The shackle nuts securing the axle to the chassis may loosen, allowing the axle to detach from the trailer.

The risk

An axle separation can cause a loss of trailer control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

AMO will remove the shackle nuts and install new shackle nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2025. Owners may contact AMO customer service at 1-419-269-1560.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
