Recall 25V529000 · manufacturer campaign CSN-3244

Structure › Body › Bumpers — Altec · reported 14 Aug 2025 · 124 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.

The risk

A front bumper that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the bolts can fail suddenly during winch operation, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Altec will replace the bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 10, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3244.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
