Structure › Frame And Members — Mercedes-benz · reported 12 Sep 2025 · 4 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 and Sprinter 3500 vehicles. The longitudinal frame members may not be reinforced properly.

The risk

Frame members with inadequate strength may reduce the vehicle's performance in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and repair the frame, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VVS3LAENGST. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 19, 2025.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
