Recall 25V711000 · manufacturer campaign 2025110002
Forward Collision Avoidance › Sensing System › Radar — Mercedes-benz · reported 17 Oct 2025 · 12 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025 AMG G63 and G 580 vehicles. The front short-range radar sensor printed circuit board may fail and result in a loss of automatic emergency braking and other driver assistance features, including the active brake assist, lane keeping assist, and Distronic cruise control.
The risk
An automatic emergency braking system that does not function as intended can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will replace the short-range sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 26, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2025110002. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 24, 2025.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
