Equipment Adaptive/mobility › Wheelchair Restraints/securement › Latch/anchor › — Micro Bird · reported 31 Oct 2025 · 64 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2024-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

The risk

An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and repair the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2025. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-117-QUC.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
