Recall 26V036000 · manufacturer campaign 21565

Wheels › Hub — Fly E-bike, Fwmoto · reported 23 Jan 2026 · 1,835 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

FWMOTO INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 FWMOTO FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Controls and Displays."

The risk

The wheel hub may be improperly assembled or installed without the proper markings to identify the part, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

The fix

FLYE will replace the rear wheel hub, free of charge, or repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact FLYE customer service at 646-961-5177 or email [email protected].

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
