Seats — Grand Design · reported 30 Jan 2026 · 683 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”

The risk

A loose seat base increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and tighten the seat base, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910057.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
