Steering › Linkages — Pierce · reported 2 Feb 2026 · 51 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2025 Velocity, Saber, Impel, Enforcer, and Arrow XT vehicles. The steering linkage arm bolt may come loose, resulting in the steering linkage arm detaching from the steering motor.

The risk

Steering linkage arm detachment can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will tighten the steering linkage arm bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 10, 2026. Owners may contact Pierce customer service at 1-888-974-3723.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
