Recall 26V208000 · manufacturer campaign RVXX2604

Exterior Lighting › Turn Signal — Volvo · reported 1 Apr 2026 · 340 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2025-2027 VNL (4) and 2026-2027 VNR (4) vehicles. The vehicle turn signals may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The risk

Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the driver's intention to change vehicle direction, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will update the turn signal indicator software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2026. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2604. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning Feb April 8, 2026.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
