Recall 26V213000 · manufacturer campaign N252541250

Exterior Lighting › Lighting Control Module › Software — Chevrolet · reported 2 Apr 2026 · 32,988 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Coupe, Corvette ZR1X Convertible, Corvette Coupe E-Ray, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, 2025 Corvette E-Ray Coupe, Corvette E-Ray Convertible, Corvette Convertible, and Corvette Coupe vehicles. A software error may prevent detection of a rear turn signal light failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The risk

The driver may be unaware that the turn signal is not working, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

The lighting control module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N252541250. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov April 2, 2025.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
