What's wrong

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Westbrook and Avenger travel trailers. The Federal Placard label may list an incorrect dry weight. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”

The risk

Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 452-2045.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
