Recall 26V443000
Service Brakes, Hydraulic › Foundation Components › Disc › Caliper — Gasgas, Husqvarna · reported 8 Jul 2026 · 6,257 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Husqvarna FE 501S, Husqvarna FE 350S, 2024 GasGas ES 350, and GasGas ES 500 motorcycles. During backwards rolling, the brake caliper may crack near the primary pin casting, which may cause the caliper to break when riding.
The risk
Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealer will replace the rear brake caliper, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2026. Owners may contact KTM and Husqvarna customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov July 15, 2026.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
