Equipment › Mechanical › Boom/crane/ladder › Critical Fasteners — Altec · reported 17 Jul 2026 · 309 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AT Series vehicles. The turntable rotation bearing fasteners may not have been heat treated properly.

The risk

A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3347.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
