Recall 26V506000

Equipment › Other › Labels — Wabash · reported 4 Aug 2026 · 533 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Wabash National Corporation (Wabash) is recalling certain 2027 Van Trailers. The external antilock (ABS) malfunction indicator light may not be labeled. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

The risk

An unlabeled ABS light may confuse following drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Wabash will mail ABS identification labels and installation instructions, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed September 28, 2026. Owners may contact Wabash customer service at 1-765-771-5404.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
