Electrical System › Software — Greenpower · reported 30 Sep 2026 · 94 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Greenpower Motor Company Inc. (Greenpower) is recalling certain 2018-2024 EV Star and 2020-2023 EV Star Mobility Plus buses. A control module interlock software error may allow the bus to move while the wheelchair lift is deployed.

The risk

The bus moving while the wheelchair lift is in use increases the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will update the control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2026. Owners may contact Greenpower's customer service at 1-909-346-1090. Greenpower's number for this recall is GP2604002.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
