What's wrong

THE INVOLVED VEHICLES DO NOT CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS". THE INCORRECT BRAKE LININGS WERE INSTALLED ON THESE VEHICLES. THIS COULD LEAD TO INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES.

The fix

THE DEALER WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE SUSPECT BRAKE LININGS WITHOUT CHARGE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCKS.SYSTEM: AIR BRAKES; BRAKE LINING.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES COULD RESULT IN ANACCIDENT.
