What's wrong

ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE CAB FIREWALL CAN CONTACT AND EVENTUALLY CUT THROUGH THE STEERING SHAFT.

The fix

DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, MODIFY THE FIREWALL TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE CLEARANCE AND REPLACE THE STEERING SHAFT, WITHOUT CHARGE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY TRUCK TRACTORS.SYSTEM: STEERING; STEERING COLUMN.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL COULD OCCUR WITHOUT WARNING,RESULTING IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
