What's wrong

THE BRACKETS USED TO MOUNT THE AUXILIARY FUEL TANKS MAY HAVE BEEN INADEQUATELY WELDED TO THE CHASSIS FRAME RAIL.

The fix

THE DEALER WILL SECURE THE AUXILIARY FUEL TANK TO THE FRAME WITH TWO STEEL BANDS OR STRAPS, BOLTED TO THE FRAME RAIL AND FLOOR JOIST.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES.SYSTEM: FUEL; FUEL TANK BRACKETS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: THIS COULD RESULT IN THE LOOSENING OR SEPARATION OF THEAUXILIARY FUEL TANKS, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE AND A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
