What's wrong

THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUEL PUMP TO CARBURETOR CONFIGURATION MAY BE INCORRECT DUE TO THE MISUSE OF COMPONENTS AND ROUTINGS. AS A RESULT, THE FUEL PUMP COULD DISENGAGE FROM THE CARBURETOR, CAUSING FUEL LEAKAGE.

The fix

THE DEALER WILL INSTALL THE CORRECT COMPONENTS ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES FREE OF CHARGE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT TRUCKS.SYSTEM: FUEL; FUEL LINE.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IF AN IGNITION SOURCE IS PRESENT WHEN FUEL LEAKAGEOCCURS, A FIRE COULD START CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.
