What's wrong

THE RIDER COULD INADVERTENTLY POSITION THE FUEL SHUTOFF SUCH THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THIS CONSTITUTES A NON-COMPLIANCE TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 123, "MOTORCYCLE CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS".

The fix

THE MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVE WILL BE REINSTALLED AND LABELED.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOPEDS.SYSTEM: FUEL; MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVE.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IF THE VEHICLE BECOMES IMMOBILIZED IN TRAFFIC, AVEHICLE ACCIDENT MAY RESULT.
