What's wrong

THE STEERING KNUCKLES IN THE STEERING SYSTEMS OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN A CASTING DEFECT. THIS CASTING DEFECT CAN GREATLY LOWER THE STRENGTH OF THE STEERING KNUCKLES WHEN SUBJECTED TO SHOCK OR LOAD.

The fix

DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE ANY DEFECTIVE STEERING KNUCKLES AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: VANS.SYSTEM: STEERING LINKAGES; KNUCKLES.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: THE STEERING KNUCKLES MAY FAIL UNDER LOAD, CAUSINGCOMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, RESULTING IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND AVEHICLE ACCIDENT.
