What's wrong

A NUMBER OF VEHICLES MAY NOT BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 212, "WINDSHIELD MOUNTING", AS A RESULT OF IMPROPER SEAL CLEANING OR ADHESIVE MISAPPLICATION.

The fix

DEALER WILL REMOVE WINDSHIELD SEAL LOCK STRIP, CLEAN AND PRIME IT, AND ADD ADHESIVE AT NO CHARGE TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MULTIPURPOSE VEHICLES.SYSTEM: VISUAL; GLASS WINDSHIELD.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT THE WINDSHIELD MAY NOTREMAIN IN PLACE, THUS PASSENGERS MAY BE EJECTED FROM VEHICLE AND SEVERELYINJURED.
