What's wrong

THE STEERING ARM MAY CRACK OR BREAK IN EITHER LOW SPEED OR STAND STILL MANEUVERS. CRACKING MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF REPEATED FULL LOCK TURNS.

The fix

THE EXISTING STEERING ARM WILL BE REPLACED WITH A REDESIGNED AND STRENGTHENED ARM.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:TRUCKS AND TRUCK TRACTORS EQUIPPED WITH 10,800 OR 12,000 LBCAPACITY FRONT AXLES.SYSTEM: STEERING LINKAGES; STEERING ARM.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: COMPLETE FRACTURE RESULTS IN THE LOSS OF STEERINGCONTROL AND THE POSSIBILITY OF AN ACCIDENT.
