What's wrong

THE SLEEPER COMPARTMENT INSIDE DOOR LATCHING MECHANISMS MAY CAUSE THE DOOR TO UNLATCH WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN.

The fix

THE OPERATING LEVER AND CONNECTING RODS WILL BE REPLACED AND A SPRING WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE CONNECTING ROD.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCKS; CAB BEHIND ENGINE, EQUIPPED WITH SEPARATE SLEEPERCOMPARTMENT.SYSTEM: STRUCTURE; SLEEPER COMPARTMENT SIDE DOORS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IF A PASSENGER IS IN THE SLEEPER, HE/SHE COULD BEEJECTED IF THE DOOR OPENS, RESULTING IN PERSONAL INJURY.
