Steering › Column — Flxible · reported 31 Jan 1985 · 73 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
THE SAGINAW TILT STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY HAS TWO PIVOT BUSHINGS AND TWO MATING RETAINING BOLTS. The fix

THE TWO EXTERNAL TOOTH SHAKEPROOF LOCKWASHERS WILL BE REPLACED WITH INTERNAL TOOTH SHAKEPROOF LOCKWASHERS. THE PIVOT BUSHING RETAINING BOLTS WILL BE INSTALLED TO A SPECIFIED TORQUE VALUE.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CITY TRANSIT BUS. SYSTEM: STEERING.

Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
