What's wrong
THE STEERING ARM MAY CRACK AFTER REPEATED FULL-LOCK TURNS. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: IF CRACKS PROGRESS TO COMPLETE FRACTURE OF THE ARM, STEERING CONTROL WOULD BE LOST AND A VEHICLE ACCIDENT COULD OCCUR.
The fix
REPLACE STEERING ARM WITH REDESIGNED STRENGTHENED ARM.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PHASE II TRUCKS AND BUSES WITH 10,800 AND 12,000 POUND CAPACITY FRONT AXLES AND ROSS POWER STEERING.SYSTEM: STEERING ARM.
