Recall 86V074000

Wheels › Hubcap/cover — Winnebago · reported 2 Jun 1986 · 17 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

AN INTERFERENCE WITH THE FIT OF THE WHEEL TO THE FRONT HUB LUGS COULD RESULT IN LOOSENING OF THE LUG NUTS WHILE DRIVING. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: LOOSENED WHEEL LUG NUTS MAY CAUSE THE WHEEL TO BECOME DETACHED FROM THE MOTORHOME WHICH RESULTS IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.

The fix

REPLACE WHEEL RIMS WITH RIMS THAT DO NOT INTERFERE.

SYSTEM: WHEELS. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS C MOTORHOMES WITH GOTTI RIM (STYLIZED WHEELS).

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
