What's wrong

DUE TO IMPROPER SEATING, THERE COULD BE A CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE WEAR WASHER AND AXLE LUG, OR BETWEEN THE WEAR WASHER AND THE INNER RACE OF THE BEARING.

The risk

WHEN TRUCK IS LOADED, CONTACT BETWEEN HUB NUT AND HUBEND CAP COULD CAUSE NUT TO BECOME BACKED OFF AND RESULT IN THE WHEEL BECOMINGLOOSE CAUSING FAILURE OF THE BEARING AND/OR AXLE WHICH COULD RESULT IN ANACCIDENT.

The fix

ADJUST BEARING CLEARANCE TO PREVENT HUB NUTS FROM BACKING OFF AND WHEEL BECOMING LOOSE.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
