What's wrong

THE CONNECTOR HALF OF THE SAFETY BELT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE A 95TH PERCENTILE ADULT MALE.

The risk

NONUSE OF THE SAFETY BELT WOULD INCREASE THE RISK ANDSEVERITY OF INJURY IN A SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT; ALSO, TRUCKS WOULD NOT COMPLYWITH FMVSS 209.

The fix

REPLACE SHORT SAFETY BELT CONNECTOR WITH CONNECTORS LONG ENOUGH TO COMPLY WITH STANDARD.

SYSTEM: SAFETY BELT; FMVSS 209.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS WITH CS CHASSIS EQUIPPED WITH PASSENGERBENCH SEAT AND SEAT BELT RETRACTORS.
