What's wrong

THE UPPER MOUNTING BOLT FOR FRONT BRAKE CALIPER(S) MIGHT FRACTURE WHILE IN USE.

The risk

THE FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM WILL REMAIN FUNCTIONAL, HOWEVER,THE BOLT'S MATING THREADED BUSHING CAN GRADUALLY MOVE OUT OF POSITION FAR ENOUGHFOR THE BUSHING TO CONTACT SPOKES ON THE MOTORCYCLE'S FRONT WHEEL. FRONT WHEELLOCKUP COULD OCCUR AND RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

The fix

REPLACE UPPER CALIPER MOUNTING BOLTS.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
