What's wrong

FUEL FILLER AND VENT HOSE CAME OFF DURING FMVSS 301 COMPLIANCE TEST.

The risk

SEPARATION OF FUEL FILLER AND VENT HOSE FROM FUEL TANKCAUSES FUEL TO SPILL FROM THE FUEL TANK. THE SPILLED FUEL COULD CATCH FIRE NEARAN IGNITION SOURCE; VEHICLE WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 301.

The fix

TIGHTEN THE CLAMPS HOLDING THE HOSES TO THE TANK AND THE FUEL FILLER TUBE.

SYSTEM: FUEL ASSEMBLY; PIPE, FILLER NECKS; FMVSS 301.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SCHOOL BUSES.
