What's wrong

THE PINCH BOLT CONNECTING THE UPPER STEERING COLUMN TO THE LOWER STEERING COLUMN MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TIGHTENED AND SEPARATION OF UPPER AND LOWER STEERING COLUMNS CAN OCCUR.

The risk

IF THE STEERING COLUMN SEPARATES WHILE THE BUS IS INMOTION, LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH CAN OCCUR.

The fix

TIGHTEN THE UPPER PINCH BOLT AS REQUIRED.

SYSTEM: STEERING.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SCHOOL BUSES EQUIPPED WITH ADJUSTABLE STEERING COLUMNS.
