THE BRAKE PEDAL COTTER PIN MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED DURING INITIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE BRAKE LINKAGE.

The risk

THE BRAKE PEDAL COULD FALL OFF THE BRAKE LINKAGE WHILEOPERATOR IS ATTEMPTING TO STOP, RESULTING IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

The fix

INSTALL COTTER PIN.
