Recall 93V065000

Visibility › Windshield Wiper/washer — Fleetwood · reported 21 Apr 1993 · 74 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

THE WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM HARDWARE WAS INCORRECTLY MOUNTED, CAUSING WIPER BLADE OVERTRAVEL AND PREMATURE WEAR, AND IN EXTREME CASES, THE WIPER BLADES MAY FAIL TO CORRECTLY TRAVEL OVER THE WINDSHIELD.

The risk

INSUFFICIENT WINDSHIELD WIPER PERFORMANCE REDUCESOPERATOR VISIBILITY IN INCLEMENT WEATHER AND COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

The fix

MODIFY THE MOUNTING OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPER HARDWARE AND REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE PIVOT ARM.
