Recall 94V121000

Unknown Or Other — Coachmen · reported 5 Jul 1994 · 1,286 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

THE SCREWS USED TO MOUNT THE TELEVISION INTO AN OVERHEAD CABINET ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH TO PROPERLY SECURE THE TELEVISION TO THE ENCLOSURE BASE. THIS CAN CAUSE THE TELEVISION TO FALL OUT OF THE CABINET AND ONTO THE HEAD OF THE VEHICLE OPERATOR.

The risk

THE OPERATOR CAN SUSTAIN INJURIES AND POSSIBLY LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

The fix

DEALERS WILL REMOUNT THE TELEVISIONS WITH CORRECT FASTENERS.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
