What's wrong

THE REAR SPRING HANGER ON THE FRONT SUSPENSION CAN BREAK.

The risk

THIS CONDITION CAN ALLOW THE SPRING TO BECOME DETACHED FROM THE LOWER FRAME RAIL AFFECTING VEHICLE CONTROL AND INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

The fix

DEALERS WILL ADD TWO FASTENERS PER BRACKET INCREASING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF FASTENERS FROM FOUR (4) TO SIX (6).

SYSTEM: SUSPENSION; INDEPENDENT FRONT ATTACHING MECHANISMS; SPRING.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: FIRE TRUCK CHASSIS.NOTE: OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME, SHOULD CONTACT SPARTAN AT 1-517-543-6400.
