What's wrong

INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE HOSES OR BLEEDER VALVES AND THE "REYCO" AIR SUSPENSION COMPONENTS CAN OCCUR CAUSING FAILURE OF ONE OF THE HYDRAULIC FITTINGS.

The risk

FAILURE OF THE HYDRAULIC FITTINGS CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID RESULTING IN LOSS OF BRAKES INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

SYSTEM: BRAKES; HYDRAULIC; LINES; NON-METALLIC. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: FORWARD ENGINE SCHOOL BUSES EQUIPPED WITH OPTION 4561-02 REYCO AIR SUSPENSION. OWNER NOTIFICATION: OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN JULY 25, 1996. NOTE: OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT BLUE BIRD AT 1-912-825-2021.
