Recall 96V190000

Power Train › Driveline — Utilimaster · reported 4 Oct 1996 · 701 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

THESE VEHICLES ARE MISSING A PROPSHAFT RETAINER STRAP. IN THE EVENT OF A DRIVELINE DETACHMENT, THIS STRAP PREVENTS THE DRIVELINE FROM CONTACTING THE GROUND.

The fix

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE VEHICLES AND IF NECESSARY INSALL A PROPSHAFT RETAINER STRAP.
