What's wrong

THE GENERATOR FUEL SUPPLY HOSE LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE GENERATOR WAS NOT ROUTED OR CLAMPED PROPERLY AND COULD COME IN CONTACT WITH THE ENGINE EXHAUST.

The risk

THIS CONTACT CAN CAUSE THE HOSE TO DETERIORATE AND ALLOW GAS TO BE RELEASED WHICH CAN CAUSE A FIRE. THIS CAN RESULT IN BODILY INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

The fix

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW FUEL HOSE WHICH WILL BE REROUTED AND CLAMPED AWAY FROM THE EXHAUST GIVING THE HOSE ADEQUATE CLEARANCE.

OWNER NOTIFICATION:OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURINGNOTE:OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT WINNEBAGO AT 1-515-582-6939.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-800-424-9393.
