What's wrong

THE FRONT IMPACT BEAM INSTALLED ON THESE MOTOR HOMES CAN FALL TO THE GROUND FORWARD OF THE FRONT AXLE.

The risk

THIS CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL TO THE VEHICLE OR PROPERTY DAMAGE TO FOLLOWING VEHICLES.

The fix

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE MOTOR HOME IMPACT BEAM SUPPORT BRACKETS TO PROVIDE THE CORRECT SUPPORT.

OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN MARCH 4, 1997. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT FLEETWOOD AT 1-800-322-8216.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-800-424-9393.
