What's wrong

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CONVERSION VANS. THE CERTIFICATION LABELS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH PART 567, "CERTIFICATION," FOR PERMANENCY AND READABILITY, DENOTE THE PROPER VEHICLE TYPE, AND INCORRECT MANUFACTURING DATES.

The fix

REGENCY WILL PROVIDE OWNERS WITH A NEW AND COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION LABEL.

OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING JANUARY 2000.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT REGENCY AT 1-817-847-7171.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).
